Oyo Monarch, Onikoyi of Ikoyi-Ile, Joins Ancestors


The Onikoyi of Ikoyi-Ile in Oriire Local government area of Oyo State, Oba Abdulyekeen Ayinla Oladipupo IV, has joined his ancestors.

The monarch died on Wednesday evening after a brief illness.

According to the Nation Newspaper, Oba Oladipupo until his death was the chairman of the traditional council in Oriire local government area of Oyo state.

Although there is no official announcement yet from the family, a reliable source hinted that Oba Ayinla’s demise would be announced soon.
